What we are not
We are not a lender, bank, mortgage broker, mortgage lead service, real estate brokerage, appraiser, or financial adviser. We hold no lending or brokerage licenses because we do none of those things. We do not originate, offer, arrange, broker, or refer anyone for financing. Nothing here is an offer of credit or an invitation to apply for any financial product.
Where the data comes from
Estimates are built on the FHFA All-Transactions House Price Index for three-digit ZIP codes, published quarterly by the Federal Housing Finance Agency. It is a public domain United States government dataset. FHFA describes the three-digit ZIP series as developmental, and where the sample for a ZIP area is small, the published figure reflects the wider metropolitan or state non-metropolitan area instead.
